Sales Executive £22,000 - £24,000 basic + commission.
An exciting opportunity within a new division of this newspaper publisher, which is focused on developing and expanding a range of businesses in the core markets of education, the public sector and media. The focus of this role is to generate revenue from print and online activity, and across a new series of events and brand extensions. You will build this revenue through cross-selling advertising and sponsorship solutions to B2B and B2C clients. You will build and manage a strong base of client and agency contacts and build a hit list of target accounts and meet appropriate conversion targets.
You will already have at least 1 year's media sales experience or an agency background within a client facing role. You will be ambitious, motivated, articulate, proactive, with the desire to influence decision-makers through your rapport building skills and your ability to instigate client sales opportunities by cold calling prospects. You will have proven negotiation, sales and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and excellent planning and organising skills.
