Our client a globally known specialist within the pneumatics and compression industry is now looking for a sales engineer to further establish its presence within the compressed air applications field.
Sales Engineer - Basic salary £33,000 to £36,000 OTE 8k
Car, Commission, Pensions, Life Assurance, Private Healthcare, 25 days holiday
Based: Oxfordshire/ Bedfordshire area
Territory: Central and Southern UK
Our client is recognised as a world wide manufacturing player in the pneumatics, tubing and pipe work industry and has a turnover in excess of €230 million, employing nearly 2000 people. This company is known for its quality and innovation and has earned a fantastic reputation within its market.
As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for continuing its current market share growth within its compression applications, as well as, assist in developing its market presence within the cooling waters area. In addition, you will be expected to offer design and technical support for distributors whilst gaining specification for the company on any new building/ renovation projects via consultants, specifiers and contractors.
The ideal person will have a proven sales track record within construction, plumbing and pipe work markets across central and southern UK. In addition, knowledge pipe work applications across Compressed Air and Cooling Water will be an advantage. Essential to the role will be a history of selling via Consultants and Specifiers into build and design consultancies, M and E Contractors, Site Engineers and Facility Managers. A technical qualification from HND level and above will be expected. Proficiency using CRM packages, MS Office and Pipe work Systems Design Software/ Costing Tools will be a distinct advantage.
