Account Manager – Sponsorship
Basic salary to £35,000 + bonus + benefits
London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join the Sponsorship team at a London-based Premiership Football team. Reporting directly to the Sponsorship and Media Manager you will be responsible for the day to day account management of the entire portfolio of sponsors, partners and affiliates.
You will be responsible for managing sponsors who have a variety of activities on match days and the role encompasses delivery of the sponsor match day operation, managing all relevant agencies, contractors and suppliers as well as project managing any sponsorship activities taking place.
In addition the Account Manager will also assist the Sponsorship and Media Manager in the following areas:
•Developing sponsorship packages for prospective clients.
•Identifying potential partner sectors and developing partner leads.
•Exploring new commercial opportunities.
•Identifying and delivering incremental revenues in new media opportunities through sale of Club media rights.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and client management skills. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in an account management role in an Agency or rights holder environment. The ability to multitask is essential as is an advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages.
