Medical Secretary, London start ASAP!
Private Hospital in London is looking for a Medical Secretary to work for 2 Consultants specialising in head and spinal surgery. You will be responsible for 2 Consultants, managing their diaries, organising appointments and clinic lists, dealing with patients over the telephone, audio typing patient letters and preparing invoices. You will also be required to liaise with Consultant Radiologists, Specialist Nurses, and Physiotherapists, booking all theatre beds, anaesthetists, and follow up consultations.
You will be working in an office with 2 other Medical Secretaries who each have their own Consultants. This is therefore a team environment and the office is situated in a modern building with pleasant views.
The ideal person will have previous experience, at least a years experience as a Medical Secretary and will be smart and presentable with excellent communication skills. You will be a team player and be able to work for recognised Medical Consultants who are extremely busy and sometimes demanding.
For this position you will also need to have a good understanding of medical terminology and ideally have worked in the private sector.
You will be required to work Monday -Friday 9.00-17.30 but flexibility with these hours is a possibility.
Salary £22,000 + benefits
