Patients Accounts/Assistant Accountant required for expanding private medical practice in London,
If you have previous experience working in a medical environment and have knowledge and experience working in patient accounts, dealing with patients face to face as well over the telephone, and are keen to continue working in this area this could be an exciting opportunity for you!
You will be required to deal with patients face to face and over the telephone discussing payments and ensuring patients are aware of all relevant costs of treatments. You will then liaise if necessary with insurance companies and embassies and chase up any payments as well as issuing invoices.
You will also be required to deal with back office duties and log payments onto spreadsheets as well as process cheques and invoices.
This is very much a varied position where you will join a happy and friendly team and great work atmosphere.
You will need to have previous experience in Patient Accounts in a hospital or medical practice and will be used to dealing with patients, possess excellent customer care skills and communication skills and not be fazed with dealing with anxious or distressed patients, or demanding payments from insurance companies.
