Sales Engineer
National Role, ideally based in Midlands (Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Coventry, Stafford, Liverpool)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the successfully growing and profitable business of the European market leader in surface technology. Our client's product range includes both plasma systems and fluoropolymers. With a reputation for high quality and service, our client works with blue chip companies and has sixteen facilities around the world, with access to unique technological solutions. Our client has made several recent investments and predicts a continual growth in sales over the coming years.
With headquarters based in Staffordshire, the role will involve covering UK wide territory with a focus on developing new business. As a Sales Engineer you will have an open book to develop new business within target markets such as, non-woven, converting, medical, or food industries. Reporting to the Sales Director, the role involves a genuine opportunity for career progression.
The successful candidate will have experience selling surface coatings or an understanding of relevant industries. As a preference you may possess an already established network of contacts within potential new business sectors, or an understanding of relevant target markets. You will be a target driven self starter with a min of 3yrs field sales experience, the ability to work autonomously, possess strong communication skills, and a motivation to win new business.
