I don’t have previous experience – what training will I receive? Austin Benn has a long tradition for superb training and personal development. As part of the Corporate Services Group we have won numerous awards for our dedication to training. Your first month is a carefully constructed, module based program to give you the basic requirement skills. You will then work closely under a managing consultant or operations manager for the first year to ensure you attain the success that you deserve. Typically you will have ten to fifteen formal training days in your first year which will contribute towards industry-recognized formal qualifications. After your first year you will then have quarterly personal development meetings to ensure that your career takes the direction that you desire. We recruit at the following levels:
Resourcer – typically a starting role in recruitment for graduates or individuals with little sales experience. With a focus on training you will work closely with an experienced Managing Consultant/Operations Manager and help in sourcing candidates and business opportunities Trainee Consultant – Usually with some sales but no recruitment experience you will work closely with an experienced team and be taken ‘under the wing’ by a Managing Consultant for a period of 9-15 months. Expectation levels, and subsequently rewards are not as high as a ‘fully fledged’ consultant. Consultant – the ‘mainstay’ of our business. You will work closely in a specific vertical sector and work closely with clients and candidates fulfilling their needs. To enter at consultant level you will typically have two years plus business-to-business sales experience and/or recruitment experience Senior Consultant – With at least two years proven recruitment experience you will have higher expectations and involvement in projects such as new ventures, managing key accounts, etc. Senior Consultants are typically exceptional recruiters who do not want the pressures of people management Managing Consultant – Managing a team of senior consultants, consultants, trainees and resourcers our Managing Consultants are our new generation of Divisional and Operations Managers. With day-to-day hands on management responsibilities you will typically be a proven recruiter, perhaps looking for their first people management role Division Manager – reporting into the Operations Manager you have full profit and loss responsibility for a Division Operations Manager – responsible for one of our centres our Operations Managers have day-to-day responsibility and control over our business.
