Customer acquisition manager – Website Design and Management sector
5 vacancies specific to postcodes £22,000 - £27,000 plus uncapped commission
Since 1999 our client have been specialising in offering a complete range of services for company websites. Now with more than 12,000 customers and a network of 20 sales offices around Europe they have recently set up a UK office close to Gatwick airport and require a number of territory based sales people to cover designated postcode areas. (see below)
The role will be split between company offices (2 days) and client facing on territory (3 days) and will consist of supplied (by telemarketing team) and self generated appointments (ideally 4 a day) with SME's looking to generate or increase their Internet presence.
The role when client facing will be very consultative and presentation lead and will entail offering a free design service with ongoing hosting and security costs as well as support for businesses who have no internal IT function.
The company culture is very much based on a marketing approach to sales, offering clients a system to increase their marketing opportunities in a consultative manner.
The Ideal candidates will live on their specific post coded territory (see below for postcode areas) and possess a determination and proven ability to initially telephone contact businesses and generate appointments with Decision makers (telesales or telemarketing experience) before pitching the service in the format of a face to face presentation. Field sales experience is not essential for the lower basic salary bracket, so may suit a well presented and articulate candidate who is looking to make the move from internal to external field sales.
Candidates will need to be self driven and target orientated without portraying a “hard sell” approach to business.
